A typical consultancy hands you a strategy, invoices you, and leaves you to work out what to do with it or can sometimes check in.
We do things differently at JUIN as we position ourselves as your Fractional Marketing Director.
We stay in the strategy, owning it from start to finish, holding ourselves accountable to the outcomes we help you set. We manage the people, process and the reporting - giving you the time back to focus on other areas of the business.
One of our clients actually said, it's like taking a mechanic to a garage - we are in your corner providing you with expertise and when it comes to delivery, we are ensuring that it is in the businesses best interest - not just to suggest the latest trend or push tactics that aren't needed.
JUIN is also an independent consultancy, meaning that we don't have additional services to sell - everything we suggest is purely to get you the results we set out for and like my clients said - taking a mechanic to the garage - so knowing when an agency or provider is trying to push additional activity or spend that isn't actually going to move the needle.
Yes, we do have external partners that we trust to provide specialist delivery; however, at JUIN we don't accept referral commissions - so everything we suggest is unbiased and based from your desired outcomes - not our bottom-line.

Before we look at
strategy, we learn your business.
Month one is not about impressing you with strategy, it's about understanding you deeply enough that everything we produce after that actually works.
We call this the business and brand immersion. It's not a workshop, it's a proper deep dive - analytics, infrastructure, the full marketing mix, stakeholder conversations, brand perception inside and out. By the end of it, we know your business well enough to build a detailed roadmap and strategy that will get you to where you want to be.

Onboarding and goal alignment
Discovery questionnaires and deep-dive sessions with you and your senior team. We will map your business goals, growth ambitions, internal frustrations and current activity.

Marketing audit and analytics review
Full review of current activity, spend, channel performance, and reporting. We're looking at what's actually happening versus what people think is happening - those two things are often not the same.

Brand and positioning assessment
We look at the brand from the inside out - how it's perceived externally, how it lives internally, whether your messaging is consistent across every touchpoint, and where the gaps are. This includes competitor and market benchmarking. We also provide a foundation brand guide to align the next steps.

Roadmap and strategy presentation
We present findings, priorities, and a strategic roadmap. Honest about what needs fixing first, clear on what success looks like, and built around your actual business goals. Your Impact Matrix™ is set up at this stage and ready.

From month two onwards, the engagement runs to a clear, structured rhythm. You always know what's happening, who owns what, and what the results look like.
The exact cadence varies by tier - Essence is lighter touch, Élan and Héritage are more embedded - but the operating principles are the same across all three.

Each tier builds on the last; all of them are bespoke to your business. The tier determines depth of involvement, not the quality of thinking.

THE CONTRACT
12-month retainer with a 6-month break clause. Projects priced separately and scoped clearly before we start.
CAPACITY
We cap retainer clients at 10 - quality over volume.
THE FIRST MONTH
Immersion before strategy - we learn before we recommend. You'll have a clear roadmap by the end of week four.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Openness, honest access to the business, and a genuine commitment to the process. We can't do this around a closed door.
RESULTS
We set objectives together at the start and measure against them; you'll never wonder whether marketing is working.
We work on 12-month retainers with a 6-month break clause. That's deliberate - meaningful strategic change doesn't happen in 90 days, and we don't think short-term engagements serve anyone well. Individual projects are priced separately - please contact us for further information.
We keep a small roster of retainer clients by design. When we take on your business, we're genuinely in it. That means we're not spread across 30 accounts, and it means we're selective about who we work with.
If we're not the right fit for where you are, we'll tell you that in the discovery conversation. No hard sell, no shoehorning - the relationship only works if it's the right one.
